Generate QR Code is a payment method available in Retail theme that creates a one-time invoice your customer pays online.

How it works:

1. Create a new sale in Retail theme and proceed to checkout.
2. On the checkout screen, tap Generate QR Code.
   • The sale creates an open invoice with an immediate due date.
      
3. The QR code is generated and appears on the checkout screen.
   • The QR code can be printed if you are using a Payanywhere Smart Solution with a built-in printer (Smart Terminal, PINPad Pro, Flex, POS, POS+).
   • The QR code can be saved to the photo library on your device.
   • The QR code can only be used once; a new QR code is generated for every transaction.
      
4. Your customer scans the QR code and is taken to the invoice payment page.
5. Your customer enters their credit card information and submits their payment.
6. The completed transaction will be listed as a paid invoice in the Payanywhere app and Payments Hub.
