Accepting payments with the Payanywhere Smart Keypad.

Terminal theme:

1. Enter an amount using the keypad.
   • Cash discount and tax are included in the transaction amount, if applicable.
2. Insert, tap, or swipe the card. Or, accept a cash payment, manually key in card information, or initiate a Debit payment.
3. For PIN Debit transactions, select the Debit payment option. After the card has been inserted or swiped, have the customer enter their PIN using the keypad.
   • For EBT transactions, select EBT, pick Food or Cash Benefit, and follow the same steps to complete the transaction.
4. If applicable, tips and signatures are collected either on a paper receipt or on screen.
5. If the customer would like a receipt, select the customer's desired receipt option. For email or text receipts, use the digital keyboard to enter the customer's contact information.

Retail theme:

1. Add items to the cart.
   • Cash discount and tax are included in the transaction amount, if applicable.
2. Insert, tap, or swipe the card. 
3. Tap Proceed to Checkout to select another payment method from the checkout screen, if necessary.
   • If Tickets are enabled, you will need to tap Charge before proceeding with the transaction.
4. For PIN Debit transactions, select the Debit payment option. After the card has been inserted or swiped, have the customer enter their PIN using the keypad.
   • For EBT transactions, select EBT, pick Food or Cash Benefit, and follow the same steps to complete the transaction.
5. If applicable, tips and signatures are collected either on a paper receipt or on screen.
6. If the customer would like a receipt, select the customer's desired receipt option. For email or text receipts, use the digital keyboard to enter the customer's contact information.

We recommend keeping your device on and avoid powering on/off to allow for increased stability and performance over time.
