Tickets & Tabs

Tickets and Tabs allow you to create open tickets, such as food and drink orders, and close out when your customers are ready.

To enable Tickets and Tabs in Retail Theme:

  1. Head to Settings. Tickets is located between Default Sale Options and Receipt Settings.
  2. Optional - Create Identifier Sets to assign a location to a customer/ticket. Create an Identifier Set then add specific Identifiers under the set.

To create a ticket:

  1. Select items or add an express item and tap Create Ticket.
  2. Enter a Ticket Name, optional note, select an identifier (if enabled), and tap Create Ticket.
    • Ticket can be printed if there are printers connected.

To start a tab:

  1. Select items or add an express item and tap Create Ticket.
  2. Run a card, add a Ticket name, optional note, select an identifier (if enabled), and tap Create Ticket.
    • Ticket Name will default to cardholder’s name.

To edit a ticket or tab:

  1. Tap on the Tickets icon.
    • A green checkmark identifies open tabs.
  2. User can edit, close, or delete a ticket by swiping left.
    • Items can be added or removed, but item details cannot edited within the ticket.
  3. To close a ticket, tap Close and follow the checkout process.
  4. To close a tab, tap Close. The transaction will process using the card on file.
    • If the transaction fails, you will have the option to use another method of payment.
