PayAnywhere helps to support the initiatives of local schools by donating a tablet to every student at Cranbrook’s Brookside school

Troy, Mich. – March 26, 2012 – PayAnywhere is proud to continue its initiatives of supporting education by donating tablets to every student at Cranbrook’s Brookside Lower School. This donation is in support of Cranbrook School’s aim to inspire today’s youth with tomorrow’s technology.

Both PayAnywhere and Cranbrook Schools have strong traditions of community building in the Metro-Detroit area year after year. This year marks the 31st year of Cranbrook’s Kaleidoscope fundraiser, which is hosted by Cranbrook parents but made possible from the support of friends, family, and local businesses like PayAnywhere.

“PayAnywhere is proud to support Cranbrook’s dedication to academic achievement with a donation of tablets for every Brookside student. We believe tablet use will enrich the educational opportunities of students by exposing them to today’s technology and providing access to information at their fingertips,” said PayAnywhere CEO Marc Gardner.

Along with the donation of tablets to Brookside, Gardner and the PayAnywhere team showed support at the Kaleidoscope fundraiser that took place on March 10 by providing the mobile payment solution in place of traditional countertop credit card terminals. By using PayAnywhere, Cranbrook and the Kaleidoscope team were able to easily accept donations and help make the event a success.

"The use of PayAnywhere in place of a traditional countertop terminal streamlined the process of accepting credit card donations. With PayAnywhere's support, Brookside was able to raise more money than we had anticipated at this year's fundraiser,” said Elyse Foltyn, Cranbrook Kaleidoscope Co-Chair. “We are grateful for PayAnywhere's dedication and generosity to Brookside with its donation of tablets for every student.”

PayAnywhere is an ideal payment processing choice for charity and fundraising organizations because of its affordability and usability. PayAnywhere is a free app and free credit card reader with pay-as-you-go pricing and no additional fees that allows charities the flexibility to accept donations and provide donors with receipts for record-keeping purposes.
